Stay away! Our sliding glass door broke on 7/29, after calling around to various stores in the area I called Dave at Affordable Windows & Doors. By chance he had the exact size door I needed with the correct opening as a floor model that he said he would be willing to sell me. He quoted me a price over the phone, but when I went into the showroom to view the door, he quoted me a different price that was $200 more. We talked it over and he agreed to knock off $100. Which I was happy to agree to, when I asked him when he could install it, he told me he could have it completely installed the following day. I was thrilled, the next day came and the appointment time was 9:00 am, that time came and went, I called Dave to find out where the installer was and at that time he told me they were running late,and that they would be there in 20 min. They didn't arrive until 11:00 am, they showed up without the interior and exterior moulding, and without the screen door, when asked about the missing pieces they shrugged their shoulders and said to call Dave. Dave explained that he had to order the parts but they would be here by 2 pm so they could still finish the job that day. They worked for about an hour, during which time one of the installers decided to take a break and pull up a seat at my dining room table and play games on his phone. They took a 2 hour lunch break, worked for another 2 hours, then packed up and left the job unfinished because they were tired. Over the course of the next 3 weeks, Dave kept saying that he still didn't have all the parts and kept rescheduling the job. Finally he had everything in stock and ready to complete the job, the installer shows up again, and still doesn't have all the parts for the install. When we called Dave about the parts and the new damage that was done to the stucco of our house, he promised to repair the damage and have the missing screen door that day. On top of not being prepared the installer proceeded to complain the whole time about breaking up with his gf, rather than focusing on completing the job properly. The installer did a sloppy job of installing the trim pieces and took a total of 7 hours to install the trim and the screen door. When we called Dave to ask about a possible discount on the installation costs because he did not have it installed when he promised and the fact that he damaged our house, Dave became angry and proceeded to yell at my wife and hang up the phone on her. The installation is done, and the damage to my house was never repaired. Dave is a liar and very disrespectful. I was really hoping for much better service from a local business. He has no respect for his customers, please if you want to be treated properly and you want a great transaction and a smooth installation then do not go here. This was a complete nightmare.

Very Knowledgable, Good at hard to get parts as well as everyday items...They come through for me time and time again. Always recommend them and are never dissapointed.
